Plays an "ALL SAND" golf course north of Woomera, South Australia
"The Big Wheel is terrific! Even in the soft sand I am still less tired or sore using it than a carry bag; and a carry bag takes less effort than a traditional buggy. Even with the 'who's wheelchair did you steal' comments - I would not swap it"
Mr. Greg Budden, Woomera, South Australia
"Having battled around our golf course for two years with a new electric buggy - repaired three times over this time - I am delighted with my Big Wheel buggy. It handles far more easily than the electric and I do not have to remember to charge a battery. I am out of the car and ready to go in next to no time without worrying about assembling the bits and pieces of the electric plus the Big Wheel is far lighter getting in and out of the car. My wife and I first used a Big Wheel at Barnbougle Dunes and we were amazed at the way it handled around the dunes. Fantastic. -
Kerry Neilson, Mornington, VIC
"Personally I cannot rate it high enough after ditching the old smoothy roller." -
Mr. David King, Bathurst, NSW
Before a Big Wheel....
"I play at Pittwater and we don't have a resident pro as such, I have asked about these and I don't doubt at all this is what I would prefer as a buggy.
We have a few of our ladies just got or getting new buggies and because no others available, are going for the sprung smoothie 3 wheel type, if you know what I mean.
I have pushed them around and not that impressed, I was talking to somebody that had actually tried yours at Barnbougle and they too were impressed and know my requirements."
And AFTER trying a Big Wheel...
"I went up and tried the buggy out this morning, sure is different to what I have been used to,
and so much easier, felt like I was ready for another round when I finished....and I don't mind saying I'm 60...and I love my Big Wheel buggy!"
Julie Caswell - Hobart, TAS
My wife has given me notice, she told me to get a big wheel for us to use in pro-ams and VNT events or she would stop caddying! I don't want that to happen.
Pat Giles.
"Vaguely agricultural in appearance it is unlikely that the Big Wheel buggy will ever be displayed at the Guggenheim, but that's hardly the point. Personally, I love the look. It used to be that after a round of golf with my late model 3 wheel buggy I would collapse onto the couch with aching joints. Now, after a round with my new Big Wheel buggy, I have energy to spare! Rather than being cosmetic, the real beauty of this superbly balanced buggy lies in the fact that it is just as light and easy coming up the 18th as it is going down the 1st. Most golfers would find the optional seat unnecessary as you simply don't get tired. Unlike many products pitched at golfers, the Big Wheel buggy delivers on what it promises." –
Mr. John Piasente South Caulfield, VIC
"Now the preferred fleet rental of all new T.P.C. courses" – Jim Phelan Risksha Golf Inc. National Sales Manager, after the P.G.A. Florida Trade Show
"Playing with Amateurs in Pro Ams all over Australia, I've seen it all when it comes to Golf Buggies. The Big Wheel is easy to use, whether you have one of your own or your club has a rental" –
David Diaz, Australian P.G.A (VIC)
"Perfect balance, a lightweight aluminium frame and those big wheels, it looks cool". –
Jason Norris - Australian P.G.A. (SA)
"Fantastic balance and a joy to push over humps and bumps big and small. Why has no one thought of this before?" –
Andrew Bonhomme, Australian PGA, QLD www.abgolf.com.au
"When the Big Wheel is this easy to push, why have a caddie?!!" –
Mark Bryant 2006 NSW PGA Player of the Year
"As Asssistant Golf Professional at Camden Studley Park Golf Club, I see expensive motorised push buggies breaking down on a daily basis. Some of the repair bills to these buggies have almost cost half of the original purchase price and is developing a growing number of unhappy customers.
I have been fortunate enough on a number of occasions to use the Big Wheel buggy which beats any buggy i have used before hands down. The Big Wheel stands out from the crowd in both aspects of ease to use and radical design. This buggy is a true head turner and compared to the alternatives mentioned earlier the Big Wheel runs rings around the competition." –
Alexander Sutherland, NSWPGA
"I have had a chance to use all sorts of hire buggies playing across the world in my golfing career but the Big Wheel buggy is best by far!! It is light, easy to use and looks really tough." –
David Walker Australian and Canadian tour player
